While it is a little complicated, ultimately; Pepper, Tony and Rhodes were henchmen to Obadiah Stane. A common trick of an overlord is to make you think that you are the overlord and they are your henchman. This type of duplicitous chicanery is needed primarly for intelligent conspirators. Which is why often times henchman, are some of God’s simpler creatures. The contrast that creates; a large brained supervillian always plotting, and a simple task oriented soul, content in disparaging the good guy, can be quite a novelty. Q. Do you think you are an overlord? If so check to see if you are actually being tricked. Q. Are you serving someone for a good and just cause, but possibly they are being played by their business partner? Yes you could be a henchman and not even know it. Note: Overlords have no problem sharing henchmen if it serves their purposes.

The Borg: Kinda like robot zombies but definitely henchman. Unlike some henchman, they love technology. Similar to Napoleon Dynamite’s brother Kip. Like most henchmen they are quite busy being relentless and serving the collective. Vacation and overtime pay not part of being assimilated. Their biggest payout is the high of scaring the poop out of various species. With the exception of Species 8472 that is.

A key to defining an Evil, Dark, or Sinister Overlord is asking oneself: “Do they have hanchmen?” The Beagle Boys were McDuck’s henchmen when thye were not trying to rob him, thus, he is an Overlord candidate.
